Photo Gallery: Logan Rock & Our Mystery Mermaid (Pedn Vounder)

The timing of these shots couldn’t be more perfect. Watching this individual swim in the clear waters and stroll effortlessly across the sandbank was beyond magical. She was the only one there, and from above, it looked like she was fearless. This beach is her home. It may be January and we are in the middle of a pandemic but this woman was in a world of her own, and what an incredible world to be in. The closest thing to pure freedom. It was a truly extraordinary moment to watch.

This area of Cornwalls is outstanding. I’m sure most of you already know the exact location of this “secret” beach, however I suggest taking a look on Google Maps and doing your own research before making your way here. Please be cautious if you are climbing down to the beach - it is very difficult and not ideal for children or less able people.
