The Garden Room: Rebalance the Mind and Body

Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Kim for a treatment at The Garden Room. The Garden Room is located in Kim’s garden in Helston. With a more holistic approach, Kim works her magic to restore and rebalance both your mind and body. It’s safe to say that her Coastal Sea Escape treatment did just that!

Kim has 9 years worth of spa industry experience and it definitely shows. Kim made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole experience and was able to answer any questions that arose. Over the last year or so, I have been suffering with bad aches in my legs (undertaking tests currently.) Kim was able to incorporate some leg work into the treatment to try and ease the pain through releasing.

Kim’s signature Cornish Sea Escape treatment is “ a tailor made, grounding journey which incorporates natural Cornish ingredients, and will restore, revive and rebalance the mind and body.” The treatment is 90 minutes long and includes work across your back, face and tummy. I’d never had a tummy massage before so it was a new experience - but it felt so grounding! Kim used seaweed which is good for anti-inflammatory) across my face and stomach. Rose quartz was also used on my face - the following day I could definitely see reduced puffiness.

Chi Tsang, an ancient form of Chinese and Thai massage was used to promote natural healing emotionally and physically. To my amazement, the following day I woke up with reduced leg pain! Not only did my body feel so much happier, but my mind did too. I had been extremely busy with little time for self care and it normally shows through tiredness, stress and body aches. It is so important to take time out for you.

I absolutely love Kim’s holistic approach and would 100% recommend having a treatment with her. Kim covers a range of massage treatments, from Swedish to Bamboo and also facials and pregnancy treatments. The fact that The Garden Shed is located in Kim’s Garden also means that you can roll out of your car in comfies and straight onto the massage chair.
